James F. Schwartz and Frank H. Schwartz Grave Markers

This grave marker which is at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, located at 179 Hackensack Avenue, Hackensack, New Jersey reveals that James F. Schwartz served in the United States Army during Vietnam War receiving the Purple Heart and died at the age of only 50.

James F. Schwartz name was not on the Original Wall Unit List, but this confirms his connection to Hackensack by being buried within its borders since passing and forevermore.

An interesting note, Frank H. Schwartz’s grave marker was just below James F. Schwartz which leads one to believe they are father and son.

Let us never forget the family’s sacrifice.
